My first piece of restoration, this was a chair that the client a tall man of 14 stone had sat upon for years, and suddenly it became to much for this delicate piece of furniture and it shattered.
At first it looked like an impossible job, but as it turned out the colouring was much harder than the repairs. these were mostly done on the lathe, either turning new parts, or spigots to repair broken joints.
